25 June 2024The new HQ of the Magni Telescopic Handlers company in Castelfranco Emilia (MO), world leader in products and machines for lifting and moving loads with excellent quality and safety standards, is now operational.
The new and futuristic area includes, in addition to the production plants, the new offices with relaxation areas, conference center and meeting rooms. The set of structures comprising the area covers 36,000 m² of which 3,200 m² are intended for new offices.
The architectural project of the most recent intervention is signed by Studio Generali Engineering & Architecture; The general works management and the structural design of the concrete and steel parts were developed by the engineer. Rosario Miletta, and the static calculations of laminated roofing with Xlam decks by architect Gianpaolo Guerzoni of Aig Arch Studio.
Studio Cattivelli ing. Fausto, on behalf of the contractor FEA Srl of Modena, carried out the executive project and construction details with static calculations of the ventilated facades for which maximum energy and acoustic performance was requested by the client with the use of specific materials to comply with the eco-sustainability of the environment.
The facade includes a panel structure made of Isopan 80 panels with a maximum height of 9.1 m in double sheet metal shaped on the external face with an insulating core and special brackets anchored to the reinforced panels such as ArkWall 2.0 to support the light aluminum carpentry designed to support the large format ceramic panels with maximum dimensions of 1.5x3.05 m made of Gress Ceramico by the Laminam company from the Ossido Laminam series 5+ with aluminum reinforcement frames structurally glued to the ceramic slabs with Dowsil 896 Panel Fix silicone, all subjected to conformity tests and Etag002 procedures; the fixtures inserted in the openings of the facades are made of Schueco thermal break profiles and special insulated pads in the perimeter; on the outside of the ventilated façade, architectural sunscreens with an extruded tubular section in aluminum were inserted, composed of non-modular squares, with a maximum depth of 60 cm fixed by means of an adjustable bar system passing through the Isopan panel and linked to the primary structures of the building envisaged in metal and laminated wood; Inside the rooms there are architectural false walls made of insulated plasterboard.
