The intervention is about the Fiorenzuola d’Arda Hospital’s expansion, with the new pavilion and the new connecting tunnel between the existing building and the new realized part of it.
Scai Tech has provided the advices for the new constructive project of the glazed coatings in the connecting tunnel and in the entry with the carport and the compass, in structural glasses, pointed fixed, with junctions, to the continuous facades and Palaser society’s cladding.
Other than that, Fausto Cattivelli engineer has executed the structural timely facades’ calculations, made by stratified and tempered glass.
The covering glasses are made with a special treatment of silkscreen, with specific architectural drawings and coating, to reduce the solar effects.
The timely fasteners use ball-joints (rotule Sadev certificate with the CSTB “Technical Alert”).
